Would you live in a kind of freaky hidden cliff house that overlooks the sea? Two Greek architects who designed Casa Brutale hope the answer is yet! They used the brutalist concrete style of home as their core design, but added a variety of luxury to it as well. It’s a severe and yet incredible space with a terrifying and wonderful view, depending on whether or not you fear heights.
Architects Laertis Antonios Ando Vassiliou and Pantelis Kampouropoulos, founders of OPA Works, envisioned their concept as a “poetic homage to pure Brutalism.” It’s functional too. The roof pool and walls underground keep the building insulated and cool.
