There are some amazing things that the body does with itself. One amazing thing is that there are body parts that can heal themselves.
The body is an amazing organism because of its ability to heal itself. The body can’t regenerate itself like some lizards. That doesn’t mean the body can’t heal itself. Many body parts like the lungs, arteries, bones, and brain have healing powers. Here is the list of what these body parts can do.
Ways you can keep your body healthy:
1. Clean the Lungs
The lungs are important for keeping the air we breathe clean. The cilia in the lungs have the ability to move the junk from the alveoli to the trachea. The way you can help is to exercise regularly. Heavy breathing loosens everything and gets everything moving. Eat plenty of carrots, sweet potatoes, mango’s and other sources of vitamin A.
2. Rebuilding the bones
The bones are our foundation. When bones break, the osteocytes are released from the bone structure. Getting more vitamin K by eating leafy greens and broccoli, spinach, avocados, and tomatoes.
3. Boosting the gut
If we have a bad diet, then we feel bad because the gut flora becomes infected. The lining of the gut can become damaged if you eat harmful foods. Eating fiber that comes from whole grains can help repair the damaged gut lining.
4. Build the brain
Scientists believed for a long time that brains cells slowly died after growing older. Recent research suggests that the brain is like the skin and tries to heal itself after being injured. Exercising helps the brain. Neurons in the olfactory bulb and the hypothalamus play a key role in learning and forming new memories.
5. Enlarge the arteries
Fat and cholesterol hardens in the arteries after years of buildup. The body has the natural ability to widen existing arteries and even growing new ones through a process called angiogenesis. Keeping the cholesterol low by avoiding fats and eating a healthy diet that consists of whole grains, fruits and vegetables.
